As a Ceremonial Drummer, I call forth ancestral wisdom. Guided by the principles of D.I.Pism (Death in Practice) a sacred framework that embraces death as a transformative rite of passage and as a Sacred Passage Ceremonialist, I hold space for sorrow to be witnessed and honoured. As a Funeral Celebrant, I craft soul-led tributes that celebrate life and honour death with reverence.

About Me

I’m Merouti, a Sacred Celebrant based in North London. I guide individuals and families through the tender terrain of loss, crafting soulful ceremonies that honour life, death, and legacy.

As a Grief Practitioner, Ceremonial Drummer, and Sacred Passage Ceremonialist, my work is rooted in nature’s rhythms, ancestral remembrance, and deep listening. I weave ritual, rhythm, and story to create healing spaces where grief is witnessed and love is remembered.

Birth and death are not opposites; they are sacred thresholds. Each carries profound, mystical energy that shapes how we live, love, and let go. Grief is not a problem to solve. It is a living presence, unpredictable, raw, and deeply human. You cannot schedule its arrival, nor should you silence its voice. When grief visits, let it speak.
